Welcome to the Ash Class page. We are a class made up of Reception, Year 1 and 2 children. Miss Chhibber is our class teacher and our teaching assistant is Mrs Rose. 

Autumn Term 2026

Weekly Update - WB 07.09.26

Our first full week has been very busy! Reception have learnt their first four sounds (s, a, t, p) and will continue to practise these in provision. They have also started to learn how to subitise in Maths. KS1 have looked at nouns and verbs in English, and have explored the composition of numbers up to 20 in Maths. In PSHE, we looked at harvest time before the children created drawings to show things they were thankful for. We explored printing in Art and enjoyed singing and dancing along to songs in Music.

Weekly Update - WB 03.09.26

We've had a lovely first two days back in Ash Class! We've enjoyed getting to know our new friends more, decided on some class rules together, and have taken part in lots of busy learning. We've shared our knowledge about oceans and seas as part of our topic work and listened to the '5 Oceans' song. KS1 did our first 'dough gym' to warm up our fingers before Exciting Writing. Year 1 and 2 also enjoyed making fish for our working wall using bubble art!
