• ADMISSIONS 2020 FOR YEAR 6 TO SECONDARY SCHOOL IS NOW OPEN

  Parents of year 6 pupils can now apply online for a secondary school place in Cambridgeshire. Deadline for applications is: 31st October 2019.  Offer of places will be made available on the 2nd March 2020.

• SILVER IN SAINSBURYS SCHOOL GAMES!

  BRILLIANT NEWS! We have been awarded silver in the Sainsburys School Games! This is a wonderful achievement for a small school like us and testament to all the great PE and sport that goes on at KPA. Well done to all children and staff!

• Year 6 ballet trip to Royal Opera House

  Year 6 are excited about their trip on Thursday of this week.  We are off to see 'La Fille Mal Gardee' at the Royal Opera House!  Please be in school ready to leave at 8.50am.  We expect to be back at school by about 5.40pm.

• School re-opening tomorrow

  GOOD NEWS!  Boiler is mended and we have heat again!  KPA will be open as usual tomorrow!  Thank you for all your support getting the children to Great Staughton today - they are having an exciting adventure!

• School Closure

  Please be aware that we have had to make the decision to close school on Monday.  Our boiler has broken and the new part cannot be fitted until Monday morning.  We can manage this afternoon but to have no heating or hot water on Monday morning will be impossible.  Children can be educated as normal, by their usual teacher, at Great Staughton Primary Academy if you can transport them.  If not, we intend to be open as usual on Tuesday morning.  Apologies for any inconvenience.  We will of course be sending this information out on Parentmail and will update you here and on the website during Monday. 

• Diamond Learning Partnership Trust Sports Event

  Congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 pupils who came second in the sports event this morning.  Excellent teamwork and great sportsmanship shown.  Well done indeed.
