Another busy week in Ash Class this week! We have been learning about instruction texts in English lessons and have been exploring the features of recipes. We have been ordering instructions and following instructions to make a jam sandwich. As part of DT lessons we then designed our own sandwiches for an Ash class picnic and made them on Thursday. On Friday we wrote up our instructions for making the sandwich we designed. We had great fun tasting our sandwiches! In maths we have been learning to subtract single digit numbers using objects and a number line. We have also been solving some maths word problem involving subtraction. Reception have been learning to recognise numbers to 10 and to be able to accurately count out the correct number of objects for a game. Year 1 have been enjoying balancability again this week with Mrs Litchfield. We have started rehearsals for our Christmas nativity this week and have begun to explore the story of Christmas. A busy busy week!
